Simplifying busy women’s lives is Liz Pacini’s mission through her blog. A Tennessee girl transplanted in Colorado, Liz started blogging last November after she wanted to have more social interaction and an outlet for her creative side. Blogging balances her life as a structural engineer.
Liz mainly blogs about fashion, inspiring her audience on what to wear and saving them time on endless dead-end searches. Aside from fashion, topics on fitness, faith, and random life hacks are other subjects she addresses. Her posts are fun to read and informational, splashed with images that show off her effortless casual style, which is a mix of southern preppy, bohemian and sporty looks with legs for days.
We met Liz after she won a Buri and Beach Claire bag, which she models in these pictures below. Liz is a beautiful, kind and charming woman with a great future in blogging and an upcoming wedding to celebrate. Read more of her interview below.
You’re originally from a small town in Tennessee but currently reside in Boulder, Colorado. What brought you to Boulder?
After graduating from UT in December of 2014, I wanted a little bit of adventure! I moved to Vail and worked as a lift operator (ha!) for the ski season, after which I moved to Boulder for a structural engineering job. It was one of the best decisions of my life!
You recently graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Civil Engineering degree. Do you have a full-time job?
After working as a structural engineer in Boulder for three years, I realized I needed a lot more social interaction in my life! I’ve transitioned to working three days a week as an engineer, and three days of the week as a stylist at Evereve in Boulder. It’s the perfect happy medium!
As a Volunteer alumnus, do you have any passion projects that you contribute your time towards?
I currently am not contributing to any passion projects at UT, but because I was actively involved in the Engineering campus during my time in college – I was an Engineering Ambassador and Vice President of the UT chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers – I make a point to contribute financially as much as I can!
How did you get into blogging?
Great question! Last November Ryan (my fiancé) and I were driving from North Carolina to Tennessee, and we were discussing life goals. I realized I wanted to be more in touch with people… anyone else thrive off of social interaction!? I knew I had the required energy and attitude to motivate and encourage women to be the best version of themselves, so I purchased my URL and started typing!
What is your brand’s mission and what are some of your favorite topics to blog about?
I present clothing and products in a stylish way to help women who struggle to put outfits together. I find awesome, high-quality apparel and goods that I love and that make my life easier so that other women don’t have to hunt. I save my reader’s time, headaches, and endless Google searches! I love blogging about outfits that make me feel like I can take on the world, running tips, and wedding planning.
When do you feel the most empowered?
When I’m running! I’m training for my second half marathon right now, and during my long runs, I find that I can think clearly and solve almost any problem.
How would you describe your style?
Casual and bohemian, yet polished and girly. I love Free People as much as I love Lilly Pulitzer!
Who is your greatest style influencer?
I absolutely love Brighton Keller of brightontheday.com. She is down to Earth, funny, and her style is effortless! She’s definitely a blogger role model!
Congratulations, you recently got engaged. Give us the details about the wedding plans and…When is the wedding?
Thank you so much!!! The wedding is June 2, 2018, at a lake house in a small mountain town in Colorado. We got engaged on a dock, and we’re getting married on a dock! Wedding planning can be overwhelming at times, but we try to focus on the main point of the day: that we get to spend the rest of our lives together.
Tell us a fun fact about you.
I have no sense of smell! I’m a beach girl at heart. I love to stargaze, and my dad taught me all the constellations!
